Why I teach and what I offer.
I am the art instructor I wanted and needed as a student. The classes are mostly self driven with encouraging mentoring that focuses on your child’s artistic level, interests and style. <y goal is to help enhance their style. While I encourage them to take their art to a magical level and explore various mediums. What is the magical level … folks in all seriousness we transform the blank page, canvas, lumps of clay and flat colors into the artistic creations you are in awe of, That is our magic.
Every child and adult with any interest in creating or expressing themselves artistically should be encouraged and feel the spark or glimmer.
That is what I offer and I hope that those who come through my classes feel that in what they do.
Art Inspire: Art for Adults/All Levels (Jan/Feb)
Come Together to Create, Collaborate, and Connect in a space where ART is play and adults are free to explore, make friends, AND find meaning through crafting and creation.
All creators welcome! From seasoned artists to beginners. Come for as long as you can to create and have fun just being in a space with others enjoying your imagination.
This is about self-care, self-discovery, friendly connection, and artful enjoyment!
Tara will provide an array of supplies and materials. You can bring anything you like as well.
BYOB and snacks welcome!
Art Adventures: Mixed Media (Ages 6-8) (Jan/Feb)
Young Artists will work with Tara to explore various types of media to create, imagine and explore in an art adventure!
A kid friendly and supportive introduction to creating art in different mediums. Kids will build confidence through their creations, while learning skills, tools and techniques!
Art Spark: All Levels High School Art (Ages 14-19) (Jan/Feb)
Students will work with art instructor, Tara Santoro, to learn techniques, skills, and tools, through different mediums to bring their artistic ideas to life!
Gather with a group of fellow inspired and creatives minds. Whether you're used to creating or you want to try a new hobby or explore different mediums. This is the place for you!
This isn’t your typical art class with still lifes and canned images. Gain confidence in your own style and maybe learn something new, while you work with art instructor, Tara Santoro.
Tara will show you techniques, encourage you, help you and help you enhance your style and or find your artistic voice.
You work on images and designs that you find interesting and or inspire you.
We have plenty of supplies for you including watercolors, markers, pencil, colored pencil, acrylics, clay, poly clay, and more. Or feel free to bring your own projects and supplies.
Art Star: Middle School Art (All Levels) (Jan/Feb)
ARTISTS WILL WORK WITH TARA SANTORO TO BRING THEIR ART TO LIFE THROUGH MIXED MEDIA, IMAGINATION, SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES.
Artists will experiment with paint, clay, canvas, paper, watercolor, oil pastels, and more in this class. Class is for all levels and skills.
Mix it Up for Middle Schoolers: Mixed Media Art Class (All Levels) (Jan/Feb)
ARTISTS WILL WORK WITH TARA SANTORO TO BRING THEIR ART TO LIFE THROUGH MIXED MEDIUMS, IMAGINATION, SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES.
